Hello everybody!

Have you ever noticed that sometimes before saying the name of a person you say a title? For example Mr. Bean.

Titles are words we add to someone’s name to describe a professional qualification, a family relationship, royal title, etc. The most common titles are the ones based on the person’s gender and their marital status.

For women

Miss Nascimento = Her full name is Jackeline Nascimento. She is single.

Mrs. Silva = Her full name is Cristina da Silva. She is married.

Ms. Rodrigues = Her full name is Clara Rodrigues. She is single or married.

For men

Mr. Souza = His full name is Andre Souza. He is married or single.

Men just have one title, Mister (Mr.), so it doesn’t matter if they are young or old, if they are married or single.
